Why Consider a Platinum Edition?

For people who collect photographs, platinum/ palladium prints are renowned for their beauty, archival stability, and unique, one-of-a-kind print statement. Platinum prints have a different kind of "look" from silver gelatin or digital prints. All platinum prints have a matte, not glossy surface, because the sensitizer is absorbed into the paper rather than sitting on the surface. They have a more gradual tonal change from black to white. To the eye accustomed to the punch of a silver gelatin print, a platinum print will often feel 'softer' or lower in contrast. Made from the salts of platinum and palladium, both noble metals on the Periodic Table and are resistant to oxidation. The platinum salts emulsion are embedded into the fiber of the paper during the printing process. This contributes to the deeper, richer feeling you experience when looking at these prints adding to the exceedingly high value and collectability of the edition.

We offer a free U.K. delivery on art and sculpture as well as using a specialist fragile shipping service for glazed art.

If purchasing for a specific date, please let the gallery know in advance so we can try to accommodate your request. 

Artwork and Sculptures that are showing as 'available' are either here in the gallery or are with the Artist or Publishing Companies and available to order or pre-order ahead of a specific release date.

Artwork and Sculptures that are in the gallery we can aim to ship out within several working days. Artwork that is with the Publisher or Artist, that needs framing or is bespoke made will come with a small lead time and your confirmation email will have estimated times of arrival. Please do contact the gallery if you have any questions regarding delivery ETA.

Please note bespoke artwork, including Limited Edition, Original or Commissioned pieces, that have been produced and shipped to you are exempt from the standard 14 day "cooling off" period under the Consumer Rights Regulations (CRR) and therefore non returnable. Your artwork may be bespoke made specifically for your order. Please do ensure you contact the gallery before ordering if you are unsure of the product you have chosen. If we do agreed to accept a return please ensure it is in the correct packaging and safely returned either in person or via the correct courier method on a fragile service. If you would like the gallery to arrange collection we can deduct the shipping cost from the refund/store credit value and the gallery will action a refund/credit note once the artwork is safely back with us.
