Zombi
Contemporary Urban Street Artist
Zombi (formerly known as Zombiedan) was born and raised in Stockwell, South London, where the urban art scene of the 1990s sparked a lifelong creative passion. After leaving school with a double distinction in Art, he relocated to the Midlands and channelled the energy of his street influences — Blek Le Rat and Banksy above all — into a fine art practice defined by intricately cut stencils, multiple layers of vibrant paint and apparently vandalised backdrops that give each canvas an authentic urban edge.
A self-taught stencil artist, Zombi creates work that crackles with the same explosive colour and kinetic energy that made street art a global movement, while maintaining the craft and finish demanded by the finest gallery settings. His canvases are immediate and immersive — urban in spirit, collectible in form — drawing the viewer into a world where the street and the studio meet.
Zombi has exhibited at Art Basel Miami (2016 sell-out show), and is a regular presence at cult events including Comic Con and Upfest, Europe's largest street art and graffiti festival in Bristol. He is widely considered one of the most exciting and in-demand urban artists working in the UK today.
