Kerry Darlington has created some incredible pieces recently, of which we’ve sold many, and one of the most popular and highly sought after is her Little Red Riding Hood print.
On her Facebook page, Kerry has recently uploaded a video showing how she made Little Red Riding Hood from beginning to end. To view the video click here.
As you can see from watching the video, it shows you an image of what the original piece was sketched from – a young girl hugging what seems to be a fluffy cushion! What the video then goes on to show is nothing short of incredible; the detail with each added stroke culminates in a piece that would grace any home or gallery.
Social response
Kerry posted the video on Facebook on May 14th and shared it on Twitter. Since then, the piece has had nearly 3,500 views, over 200 likes and 38 shares on Facebook. We haven’t spotted one negative comment in the many that have been left.
The piece itself is available at Generation Gallery for £1,095.00 here – Kerry Darlington’s signature silver/blue frame IS included. It’s not just any old print, though; it’s a special edition print with resin and 3D elements, ensuring that every single piece is unique. There are in fact only 295 worldwide (plus 30 Artist Proofs)!
The best bit about the video is...
...the fact that Kerry has responded to some of the comments. This personal touch is quite rare, and something we commend Kerry for.
