Having only begun experimenting in creating her artworks in earnest through the first lockdown of Covid, Sam's relatively new entry to the market already appears to be taking off! As her first, fully published collection, "Songs for Summer" represents a fun and eclectic mix of the artists favourite old and new song lyrics with titles that have been cleverly used in conjunction with her satirical mixed media portraits. She has successfully completed a selection of client commissions this year so far and we very much look forward to seeing Sam gain the credibility and recognition she deserves for her unique style & content.
Sam's "Studio" originals are created using archival canvas printing that have their text content screen-printed by hand, along with further/additional subtle painted embellishments - before being gloss lacquered and framed in solid black canvas L-Float moulding. Both sizes of the exclusive new limited-edition offerings are produced on 360gsm, archival museum paper and framed using Acid Free / pH Neutral & Conservation materials, all artworks are signed, numbered & certified by the artist.
